Catching up

The last month has been interesting to say the least. I have been the suckiest of bloggers. Here is a recap.

- Late November I get the stomach flu
- December 5, I wake up to excruciating pain, on the day that my husband is going out of town for 5 days and to top it all off, my son comes down with the stomach flu for 4 days.
- Fortunately, my parents were brave enough to deal with all of the bodily fluids flying in the house to stay with us
- I have well surpassed my goal of losing weight and in record time. Crohns Disease put me on the same diet as my 7 month old. FUN! And for the record, not a good way to lose weight.
- Christmas was great, fun to see Z open every present he could get his hands on, even if they weren't his. Fun with both sides of the family.
- New Years was okay, not the best, but with family so definitely better than being alone.
- NO TREATS EVEN TOUCHED MY LIPS THIS HOLIDAY SEASON, AND PEOPLE WONDERED WHY I WAS IN SUCH A BAD MOOD. NOT BY CHOICE, PEOPLE
- Found old jeans/pants that fit and are new again, as everything currently in my closet is a bit large. Hooray for being a pack rat.
- Oh and lastly, the reason for no pictures attached... I broke my husbands hard drive the day after he downloaded everything and then erased them off the camera. Total accident, but I can tell his is kind of pissed. Hopefully some computer guru can get the info off of it. It is only my husbands last two years of work on it. SUCK

So there you go, nothing too exciting but I am still alive(and will be fine, it will just take time to work back up to my beloved bacon burger, cheese fries, and let us not forget the cake) and at least you don't have to see You Tube videos this time.

Allyson,
Wow, things don't sound so great over there! I can't believe all the flu's and I am so sorry your Crohns has been so bad. Do you get any consolation from it that you are a skinny-minnie or does that not even help? I hope things get better all around. So, for months I have had a small pile of things I've asked Matt to take by your house. That of course has never happened. But it's a thank you card for Jane's birthday, a tupperware container, and the Elmo potty DVD. I am sorry we've been so slow on the return. At this rate Eden will be ready for the DVD by the time you get it! And I want to talk midwives and about the ear doc!
